Southdown Plantation House/ The Terrebonne Museum is in need of donations from generous community members who share an interest in helping the Terrebonne Historical and Cultural Society preserve and promote Terrebonne Parish’s history, culture and arts.

DONATION OR LOAN OF ARTIFACTS

Artifacts can be loaned or donated for display in the museum. Artifacts are evaluated by our Accessions Committee and can be contacted at 985-851-0154 or info@southdownmuseum.org.

DONATION OF SUPPLIES

The museum is always in need of cleaning, grounds, and office supplies. Please contact us at 985-851-0154 for more details.

DONATION OF TIME

Our most cherished donation is that of our volunteer's time and efforts. The museum is in need of volunteers to give tours, work in the gift shop, or help with special events. Students who need service hours or internships are always welcomed. All of our volunteers are greatly appreciated and valued.
