DONATE OR LOAN ARTIFACTS
Artifacts can be loaned or donated for display in the museum. Artifacts are evaluated by our Accessions Committee to determine if the item/s are the right fit and space is available to display it. If you have any questions regarding a donation or loan of artifacts, contact the office at 985-851-0154 or info@southdownmuseum.org.
DONATION OF SUPPLIES
The museum is always in need of cleaning, grounds, and office supplies. Please contact us at 985-851-0154 if you would like to donate supplies to us. All donations received are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

OPPORTUNITIES TO HELP

  • Become a Docent or Part-Time Volunteer - Consider donating your time giving tours, working in our Gift Shop or helping with Marketplace or our Membership Drive.
  • Use Your Skills for Good - Do you do handiwork? Are you an electrician? Do you love doing yard work? If you only donated your time once per year, it can still benefit us greatly. We promise not to ask you to come back every week. ; )
  • Patronize Us - Recommend a tour of Southdown Museum to visiting family/friends and shop in our lovely Gift Shop when you have time.
